Did I just watch the proverbial Dog n Pony show without dogs or ponies? What was the point of all this? The Chewbacca Defense?

 

A little bit of crap for both sides which confirms once again the American people are the big losers in all of this while Washington and the politicians continue to fleece the masses.

Former AG Lynch interfered with Clinton investigation.
Flynn still in hot water.
Trump not deemed to have interfered with his investigation.
Trump called out for lying so Comey started taking notes of their conversations.
Russia interfered in election but did not sway or influence any votes or the final results.
Dems still butt hurt over losing the election.

Media, specifically NY times creating fake stories and making up stories that simply are not true.

 

A bit of a correction on this one:
Trump not deemed to have interfered with his investigation in spite of trying to do so because Comey didn't let that happen.

Also I would like to see how you (or anyone else for that matter) came to this conclusion since the investigation is still ongoing. Particularly the bold portion. I generally agree it did not impact the final results, but to say none of their efforts influenced any votes is a pretty broad statement.

A Chewbacca defense is the name in the United States given to a legal strategy in which the aim of the argument seems to be to deliberately confuse the jury rather than to factually refute the case of the other side.

I didn't come to any conclusion. I simply restated Comeys direct testimony where he said after a quite extensive investigation he is positive no direct votes were changed. At least all the information he has seen supports his conclusion. His testimony based on his investigation into the matter.

Are we to believe that you know more than Comey does with regards to this matter.

So you need to take it up directly with him.

No direct votes changed and no votes influenced are two different things.

 

Everyone knows Putin himself directly changed over 7 million votes.

 

Again take it up with Comey.

I have no issue with what Comey said, just your interpretation and rewording of it. If you can't understand the difference between directly changing a vote and influencing how someone votes, I might as well be arguing with a wall.

 

And if you could understand the simple fact that the outcome of the election was not changed. No votes were influenced. No votes where changed.

His testimony based on an extensive investigation vs. your opinion based on still being butt hurt.

I read his manifesto and no more. In it he has a crap ton of innuendo and not much more. He started taking notes on a single meeting where nothing occurred yet never did this for Obama or anyone else. Either an extreme partisan or liar. More of nothing to see here but smoke and media lies IMO.

Did anyone ask where the notes were and why he took government property with him when he was fired?

I will wait for the quote from Comey saying no votes were influenced. No butt hurt here. I knew my candidate was going to lose well before the election. If the Russians really put in a substantial effort (Comeys words) and didn't influence a single vote, heads will be rolling in Moscow.
