What method(s) of cleaning rotors does everyone use? I pulled a pair out of the spares box I bought with the bike and they have a little surface rust on them. Checked 'em for warpage already and want to make sure they're clean before I mount them on the spare wheel.

If you have access to a bead blast cabinet, that does a nice job as well.

This is what I do. That way it removes all the imbedded pad material and doesn't harm the rotors themselves.

Go t6o Harbor fgrieght. They are cheap, and you can get glass beads 25 #'s at a time.

I have two cabinets. One for sand, and one for glass beads.
