I purchased a SV650 superbike motor with Keihin 41mm FCR carbs. VIR last month was the first time out with my new upgrade. Had a blast!
I'd like to give those carbs a good cleaning, but can't find any instruction on the web. Hopefully a good cleaning will help with the following:

    1. Twisting the trottle is a bit stiff (not to bad though). I'm thinking that the sticky race fuel is causing some of that.
No, it's not the push-pull cables. I spent a good bit of time freeing them up as much as possible.

    2. On grid for my last races on Sunday at VIR the bike started idleing a bit high (3000 rpm). Is this a common problem with these carbs? What might be the problem? Must figure it out before Summit Point or I could have an overheating problem when on grid.

Maybe all they need is a good cleaning?
Anybody with some good maintenance advice for my 2 new sexy twins?
