Wow, the end of that superbike race was major drama! It's gonna be a long year in that garage.
Redding was lucky to get on the podium.

Im sorry, I missed it in the book of Faceboobs; did Shane Bryne retire? I know he had a rough crash last year and wore a halo for some time...

 

He’s an announcer now for Eurosport
as he was at the end of last season while wearing the halo...I didn’t see him announce retirement, I’m thinking he wasn’t ready for this season when picking teams came up and just missed the cut due to his injury. Scott Redding coming in didn’t help his shot at his old seat...

Hour 5-6 is the end of the 24 hours motos, then some road cycling stuff after that.

 

Mackenzie was already not liked for being silver spoon kid and O'Halloran is a well liked hard charger. Gonna be a great year!

 

Watching the race right now (yea I know I'm late). Anyone know what the drama was with the BMW's? Something about them getting the bikes late?

 

Don't know specifically the issue you're talking about but the BMW is a new design this year, so it's very possible that the teams got them too late for proper preparation for the season.

 

Makes sense I forgot the new gen came out this year!
