I am planning to buy the bridgestone r10s and have a question on which compound to buy. The medium type 3 EVO says it is for cooler weather. Would this compound be ideal for spring in the southeast? Will it hold up on a hot summer day? The other option is the type 2 EVO hard, which I imagine would hold up best during summer, but would the medium provide better grip?

Really need to know what bike they are going on. Normally hards are for endurance stuff but it depends on the bike, the track and the temperature.

Hey, The Medium is a fast tire, but short life. The hard is our sprint tire for most people. We're at all the races in the southeast. Stop by and we can help you out. They just lowered the prices on these to us. We're selling them at $340/set.
