Due to years and years of weightlifting, my calves are too big for just about any race boots I've found... Any body got a recommendation for a good, SHORT, racing boot?
Maybe yama-saurus or cannoli can help, they stay in the gym too. My calf isnt small and ive worn a-stars and sidi.
depends on if your calves have turned into cows. i tried astar supertech but kept busting the rear zipper (3 pair) and smx didn't stand a chance. finally had good luck with teknic speedstar and gaerne grs boots. both accomodate larger calves with the personal preference to the teknic due to a bit more adjustment at the top of the boot. plus, brian van has them on stoopid sale....gaerne fit awesome as well, not as much room with their mx style buckle, and they seem to run a bit narrow on the foot.
