*There will be no bodywork or tire limitations in D Superstock. D Superstock bikes do not need to have DOT approval.

I read that part in the rulebook, but I want to ask... is my FZR400 with R7/R1 bodywork legal for anything? Would it be better just to put the FZR bodywork back on to avoid problems?

Run your bodywork and you shouldn't have any problems.

There are no limits so the R1 stuff is fine. That was actually the main reason, a lot of people with SS spec bikes have changed out the bodywork to match some of the more modern bikes.
