    Fuck Prince...was "The Dude"
I've seen 100s of shows in my time and many regarded the best musicians of their time ....etc
    Prince.....was a musical genius.....a prodigy.
Different ' sure......Gutarists I've viewed B.B King, EVH, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray V, Bonomasssa, Satriani..and So So many others in various genres......Prince was could stand with and play all of them....his Blues/Rock is where he shined though.
Who needed another Rock gutarist ...he was FAR more than just that.
    Remarkable dude...to the end

Was at ACL. She was awful.
    She headlined ACL, thus hype.

I will say, feel free to say what you want about Miley Cyrus, she put on the 2nd best show of the weekend. She was amazing, even if I dont know much if her music.

it’s not just good for babies. Vivaldi, Bach and Tchaikovsky helped me stay awake and focused many many mornings when I was working two jobs and having to do nerd duties in the QC lab first thing in the morning on 5 hours of sleep. That stuff is like audio caffeine. Country and rock put me to sleep.

Try Rued Langgaard symphonies. It's like Mahler sniffled a little mescaline and put mental illness on staff paper. Wonderful stuff! IIRC, there is one that's seven minutes long and scored with eight tubas! It's Autumn now so start with Symphony #4, Lovfald mvt VIII, Traet! (Tired!). Crank that shit up and acknowledge the drone in the strings.

Very few forces of nature come onto the scene in that mold. Terry Kath, Prince, Jimi... these are rare men.

He's the one person I regret not seeing live.
When he came through Portland, he played a small club. 2 shows.
    $400 per ticket.

Barrato sale caro. I saved the $400, but completely missed out.

No hate here. Perhaps worse: indifference?...

The Mongoista won't like this video here one bit though....

Saw the movie last night. It's the first time I heard the song and the first time I've heard her actually sing instead of whisper. OK, the girl has some pipes...she should use them more often.
