I couldn't justify the price of a really nice table so I bought a pair of folding galvanized horses, had a piece of plywood cut at the local Lowes and got four carriage bolts with lock washers and nuts. I spent about $35 total. I'd rather have a really nice work table but I can use the $250. Best part is that the table is adjustable. You just cut the legs of the horses to whatever height you want.
Good ole' American Dad Ingenuity Im doing the same for my Shop table. Making 1 permanent and 1 mobile. I need a good work table for engine work any ways so my permanent one will be bigger than most of the stands you buy.
