Best Yamaha dealer / Mechanic in Alabama, Ga, South Tn, or MS.

I have a recall that is going to crack open my new FJR with 20 miles. The whole bike will be stipped down and engine removed to pull and replace 2nd gear. The dealer I bought it from has a mech that works on 4 wheelers and I am not taking the bike to him.
I am willing to travel to have it done right. I live in Central Al.

It has to be a dealer with a trained mech to do the recall.

Who do you recommend?

Suzuki Yamaha of Dalton has some decent guys.

 

PM or chat with @yamageezer ......he is a full-time Yamaha Mechanic EMPLOYEE, not at a dealership tho, at HQ.

He knows alot of Yamaha peeps throughout the Southeast, and probably elsewhere....he moved to ATL from the Northeast.

I don't know about the other States, but the best mechanics in Alabama don't work in dealerships, they are independents.

Go see Huey at Freedom Powersports in Huntsville Alabama, and ask him to do it himself, or watch over the guy that does it
