I normally vomit at the thought of Christmas songs but since I haven’t been in public and bombarded this year, maybe I’m just getting old, I find myself sitting here, half lit, actually enjoying some Christmas music. I think my favorites have been a mix of Bublé (no homo!), Frank, and Elvis. What else you got? Pardon my poor punctuation and run on sentence, it’s the booze.
Hands down, John Denver and the Muppets Christmas 1979. Favorite Xmas album when I was a kid. Vince Guaraldi Peanuts Christmas by George Winston is a close second. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0194989/ https://www.amazon.com/Linus-Lucy-Music-Vince-Guaraldi/dp/B004MF2KN4
Frank, Elvis, Bublé, Pentatonix, Amy Grant, Mormon Tabernacle, Canadian Brass, and Andrea Bocelli are all great.
Group called Take 6, album is called “He is Christmas “. Most amazing harmonies you’ll ever hear. Track 9, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen with the Yellow Jackets, is my favorite song for the holidays. Also love Nat King Cole’s Christmas album.
1 Canadian Brass Christmas 2 The Jack Daniels Silver Cornet Band Christmas record is great. 3 Pete King Chorale 4 The Joy of Christmas, Lenny Bernstein and the Morman Tabernacle 5 Concertgebouw Nutcracker
