So a couple friends and I are heading to Barber for the first time in early March. I'm looking for a bit of advice on where to stay, where to eat, and any other must do/see while at Barber. We are making the drive from Ohio to get a track day in down there and was hoping to tap the collective experience on this forum. Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas, etc would be appreciated... Thanks, Andymax
get ready to ride one of the nicest tracks you will ever see!!! seriously, there is not many tracks that will compare IMO. i have seen many!
there is a hotel right at the track exit which is about 1/2 mile from track that is pretty decent. and the next exit up (approx 5 miles) has a bunch of hotels. has a pretty good mexican place too.
Check with hazbin69... He's always looking for a "Barber virgin" to tap the collective experience....
THe hotel right beside the track is the america's best value inn. 205-702-2700 It's cheap and it's about 1/4 mile from the track but it's pretty ghetto. I've been solicited by a prostitute there as well as seen many shady things goin on. About $60 a night so not a bad deal overall. Next exit up (moody) has nicer hotels and several restaurants and a grocery store
Nesba or STT? I'm doing the STT (17th & 18th) Yes...Barber is an awesome site!! Yes...tour the Museum which is right off turn 9 or 10!!
We'll be there with NESBA. We originally wanted STT but they were sold out by the time we could put the trip together... We plan on hitting the museum on Suday morning.
I saw the thread title and was looking for photos of Barber Virgins. This thread totally did not meet my expectations.
haha I knew I should have worded that differently. $60 a night for the hotel. she did offer to let me grab a boob for free but I even declined that. Probably cause they were hanging down to her waist and there was a pack of marlboroughs between them
