Going to be there for 4 days next week for work. Anything worth eating or seeing in the evenings?

Ride public transportation. It's much better than what you have in Loudoun County.

I remember the days when you couldn't go 3 posts without someone saying Cheetah or Gold Club.

Need more specifics, there is a whole lot of the ATL.

If in town - Vortex for burgers and people watching. Lot of decent places for craft beers down in Little 5 too. If you're in a messican mood one of the owners has a great place called the Bone Garden Cantina over by Ikea. Clermont Lounge - strip club in a basement. The ultimate dive bar and you never know who you'll see there with all the movies and shows being filmed in town.

Daddy D'z or Fox Brothers or Fat Matts for Q.

I'll be at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly which looks like it's out a good ways, but I can score a car if need be.

So you are staying over at the edge of Cobb at the edge of 285. There is no public transportation from there, so it is Uber or a rental. Near there for restaurants... Muss & Turners, Seed. Further out you can go to Marietta square. There are about five or six places up there. In towards the city you have Local Three. Check out Ponce City Market for the food hall experience. Little 5 has a bunch of stuff for hanging out. The Highlands neighborhood has a ton of great spots.

Uber up to Smyrna - Atkins Park and Zucca are right across from each other, cool places and good food. Neighborhood bar type joints. Vintage Tavern if you smoke.
