    Harrah's in Cherokee NC.
    No dealers. All video.

The second closest is anything in Las Vegas via Delta! Hahaha

3rd Closest would be all the ones down in Biloxi.

You sure about that? I didn't think there were any poker rooms within 8 hours of Atlanta. It's not listed on the website.

I'm pretty sure Harrah's is all video. I saw a commercial where they're going to be adding "dealers" to these new tables but even those tables will be video and the dealer just "times" when stuff happens by pressing buttons.

I could be talked into running a poker game at RA if people were interested. I'd do a tournament or just a ring game. Sometimes it's problematic to get people together at the track for such stuff, but I"m sure we could at least have a ring game going.

I was just thinking of hitting one after the races. I live in Nashville. I was thinking of going on to Tunica from Atlanta. Mapquest says over six hours. So I was curious if there were any close to Atlanta. Cherokee doesn't sound bad driving wise, but I dont like the idea of all video.

    Thanks for the help guys.

Tunica sucks to be honest. The casinos are ok, but everything else there sucks. Philadelphia, MS would be probably a lot closer for you. They have a few pretty good casinos on the Indian Reservation. Biloxi is the best though. The Beau Rivage is really nice, and they're building a Hard Rock casino on the beach right now I believe. Then you always have your Grand Casino and many others. I only live 60 miles from Biloxi. It would take you about 8 hours from Road Atlanta to Biloxi probably, less if you are heavy footed like me. Philadelphia would be a lot closer

They also have a really nice water park there with a Hard Rock hotel and beach club, or something like that.

Just be forewarned that when you enter their property you basically lose your Constitutional rights.

If you play poker, Tunica is better than Vegas. Go there, and play at the Grand. Big comps, very live games.

Yes, I am going just to play poker. Hopefully find a live 10-20 limit HE. Don't have a big enough bankroll for a no limit table. Trying to find a room in Tunica right now.

Anyone have any comped rooms they would like to part with? Being a holiday weekend and all they are mostly booked and pricey.

Also, do you know if they have a special "poker room" rate for hotel rooms? I think I remember hearing something about that a while back.
