Anyone ever adapted Tac/Gauges from different model?

Going out on a limb here......anyone ever adapted the cluster off a different model to their platform?

Got a ZX10 cluster and like the led tac bar and wonder.....could the wire harness be deciphered and this hooked up to my GSXR.

Not a must...but pissing in the wind with ideas.

 

It's possible. One might be K Line and one might be CAN...which wouldn't jive. If you are advanced in electronic engineering, you could do it. It wouldn't be as simple as repinning the harness.
