anyone buy from bikes direct website?

I'm not a MTB guru so I can't say for sure it's a great bike but it has served it's purpose well and anticipate it will continue to do for yrs to come. So long as I don't keep crashing it. IIRC, during my research, it seemed as if popular name brand bike with the same components were easily $2k+.
