I'm in town for a bit and am open for lunch.

Lol none. But I got fixins for a mean Italian sub sammich already here. All good if ya gotta grab a meal somewhere. Just throwing it out there. Gimme a heads up before you come next time and I'll set aside time to meet. Could prolly get 2fer, BP, and Phil to come too.

 

You better have salami (preferably hard-dry but genoa will do), copa (cured, not cooked) and mortadella, plus provolone, and oil and vinegar. And shred the lettuce and add pepperoncini. . And I forgot -- a very good soft roll. Otherwise, you're frontin'

Not for me. A proscuitto or jamon sandwich is much simpler, much more like you'd actually get in Europe. The sub above is a distinct American variant.

Sorry Genoa > hard, because pork > beef. Perhaps you mean coppa a cold cut, not copa a sausage. Also need ham. Oregano in the oil and vinegar. Tomato, shredded lettuce and onion.

Do you have a source for copa as ground sausage?
