As a first time racer, I'm trying to work out alot of details, and hope to benefit from your experience. In another thread, most of you said you use Pirelli/Metzler tires because, among other things, they are cheaper. My question is, how much does Moose charge you for the SC2 tires? How much are the Dunlops if purchased at the track?
It all depends on how many tires you buy too. Michelins are cheaper this year too. if you buy ten sets at a time you get a better deal.
Ten sets may sound like a lot for a new racer, but get in with a few guys, buy 2 or 3 sets each....there you go.
