Saw this yesterday. Red with tan leather. I could be happy with this as the last car I ever buy.

 

With how expensive maintenance is, you wouldn't be able to ever afford another car.

Wait, that thing is real? I saw the images floating around social media and just thought it was some kind of rendering or concept. It's so ridiculous that I love it

 

It's just a mustang with the fender wells cut out.

There's a bit more to it than that. They are shooting for a sub 7 minute around the Ring I believe I read somewhere. It has active aero, >800hp under the hood and a bunch of other goodies.

 

That's nice, but who's going to pay 300K for a mustang.

 

I'd imagine that some people will....obviously most middle class folks aren't.

The latest gen Ford GT's (2017-now) sold for $450K, and they're selling at auction now for more than 2x's that price. I'd have to believe this thing is closer in specs to a GT than a Stang at the end of the day.

 

in the article i read - it had the time of the camaro zl1 1le mentioned (7:15 iirc) - if you are even MENTIONING a 80k camaro as a comparison to a 300k mustang - you are WAYY overpriced. yeah i am sure it will be faster - 220k worth faster? this thing better be hell on wheels fast to demand 300k - not a few seconds faster than a every day camaro.

A Shelby Super Snake is "only" $140,000 and has 800hp and all the other go fast bits you can throw at it. I doubt their target price is 300k.

Wow, thanks for posting. I hadn't heard anything about this yet. That price does seem crazy for a Mustang, even one that will supposedly be this bad ass.
