Anyone watch Hannity and Colmes last night? (yes, I am a fox news fan) She was such a bitch to both of those guys. My republican girlfriend (who was an Ann Coulter fan before last night) and I watched in amazement as she gave the most rude, short answers to both of these guys. I know she was already kind of pissed, having been booed of another stage at a college by some closed-minded liberal students. I tried to find a link, but have been unsuccessful. It started after Sean Hannity's typical greating: Hannity asked how the speech before the students went and Coulter's answer was, "Weren't your cameras there? How do you think it went?" -while shaking her head as if she were Mat Mladin responding to one of Greg White's lame post race questions. It went downhill from there, with many interruptions by Coulter before questions could be completed. Then Colmes goes on to thank her for coming and attempts to take her side and before he's done speaking, she interrupts him and attacks, as if he was one of the students. Colmes tries to tell her that she misunderstood the comment, but she's like, "No, I heard the question and blah blah insult insult" She sucks. That's the first time I've ever watched one of her interviews. I can't believe what a conceited bitch she is. She attributed the audience's bad behavior to adolescent sexual fantisies. COME ON! She's barely average in looks. Barely. Get over yourself, Ann.
I use to like listening to her in interviews but the last couple of them I've watched cured that. She is a rude arrogant bitch.
I never got why she is used at all on Fox. I'd you her only to promote a left wing agenda because she is such poor rep for the right.
I agree she comes off as rude, but I am still an Ann Coulter fan because of her books. In her books, she is very brash and intelligent. She tells it like it is whether you want to hear it or not. Todd, I'll give you a copy of Slander next time I see you at the track if you want it. Excellent book!
without her looks, she's an also-ran... all those little pent-up bow-tie wearing Tucker Carlson types spanking it to thoughts of her dissing "Slick Willy"...
She may be a bitch, but she's a clever one.... By 1973, John Kerry had already accused American soldiers of committing war crimes in Vietnam, thrown someone else's medals to the ground in an anti-war demonstration, and married his first heiress. Ann Coulter Democrats always assure us that deterrence will work, but when the time comes to deter, they're against it. Ann Coulter Democrats couldn't care less if people in Indiana hate them. But if Europeans curl their lips, liberals can't look at themselves in the mirror. Ann Coulter Have we been cryptic? Right-wingers said Clinton was a lying, unscrupulous traveling salesman. It turned out he was a lying, unscrupulous traveling salesman. Now liberals scratch their heads demanding to know: So what was it about him you didn't like? Ann Coulter If John Kerry had a dollar for every time he bragged about serving in Vietnam - oh wait, he does. Ann Coulter If we're so cruel to minorities, why do they keep coming here? Why aren't they sneaking across the Mexican border to make their way to the Taliban? Ann Coulter Liberal soccer moms are precisely as likely to receive anthrax in the mail as to develop a capacity for linear thinking. Ann Coulter Liberals are stalwart defenders of civil liberties - provided we're only talking about criminals. Ann Coulter Liberals become indignant when you question their patriotism, but simultaneously work overtime to give terrorists a cushion for the next attack and laugh at dumb Americans who love their country and hate the enemy. Ann Coulter My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building. Ann Coulter Taxes are like abortion, and not just because both are grotesque procedures supported by Democrats. You're for them or against them. Taxes go up or down; government raises taxes or lowers them. But Democrats will not let the words "abortion" or "tax hikes" pass their lips. Ann Coulter The New York Times editorial page is like a Ouija board that has only three answers, no matter what the question. The answers are: higher taxes, more restrictions on political speech and stricter gun control. Ann Coulter The New York Times ran a Tom Tomorrow cartoon sneering about Americans who believe with 'unwavering faith in an invisible omniscient deity who favors those born in the middle of the North American land mass.' This is how liberals conceive of America: an undifferentiated land mass in the middle of North America. Ann Coulter Usually the nonsense liberals spout is kind of cute, but in wartime their instinctive idiocy is life-threatening. Ann Coulter We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war. Ann Coulter We've finally given liberals a war against fundamentalism, and they don't want to fight it. They would, except it would put them on the same side as the United States. Ann Coulter When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors. Ann Coulter When we were at peace, Democrats wanted to raise taxes. Now there's a war, so Democrats want to raise taxes. When there was a surplus, Democrats wanted to raise taxes. Now that there is a mild recession, Democrats want to raise taxes. Ann Coulter Whenever a liberal begins a statement with 'I don't know which is more frightening,' you know the answer is going to be pretty clear. Ann Coulter Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots, and on the matter of America's self-preservation, the difference is irrelevant. Ann Coulter While the form of treachery varies slightly from case to case, liberals always manage to take the position that most undermines American security. Ann Coulter
And a bit more recently............. (this one kills me, no pun intended) "If the Democrats want to stick to the middle of the road, why did they pick Ted Kennedy. Didn't he have some trouble sticking to the middle of the road?"
Nothing you quoted was clever, IMHO. You are far more clever than Coulter, if not as prolific. The quotes above show that she is especially nasty, dangerous and blood-thirsty. I have no idea why she gets a free pass.
I agree totally. I called my dad (bigtime republican) and talked to him about this thread topic. He completely defended what she said and how she behaved. He then told me that he didn't see the show. How very typical. She's way worse than that windbag Rush Limbaugh. At least he doesn't attribute his detractors' actions to sexual fantasy like she did last night. How can an intelligent person take her seriously?
If you think that she is the only one who gets a 'free pass' in DC, that is more than just a little bit naive. The difference between her and some of the other 'free pass' recipients is that she was never elected to a government position and therefore not in a position to implement policy based on her opinions. The same cannot be said for Clinton (sweeping ( bought?) pardons, lying to a grand jury (and getting disbarred) while a sitting president, interfering with an investigation...and these are just the 'greatest hits')
I have no idea why folks like Howard Dean and John Kerry get a pass for their comments. Is it actually goop policy to undermine our soldiers efforts in the middle of a conflict? Howard Dean- "The idea that we're going to win this war is an idea that unfortunately is just plain wrong" Kerry- "The US needs to stop terrorizing Iraqi kids in the middle of the night. Let the Iraqis do that"
Neither one of those fools speaks for me. And your list of moronic liberal politicians is a short one. There are many more and I can agree with you entirely.
