This "hasn't" been discussed in the other thread......after first practice.

AMA SB vs GP bike lap times at Laguna reviewed.
With the first practice sessions in the books it looks as if the lap times are much closer than many suspected thus far.

I know some estimated from 3 to as much as 5 or 7 seconds. Currently with 1 practice session on the books it looks to be about 1/4 of a second or so at best.

I would suspect the GP guys to get quicker... but thus far the Americans are running quick times, so they may not improve as much as the other guys who have not run the track.

in AMA, SB.....Mladin leads the time gap so far, and he is likely to drop a few clicks as is the rest of the field.

Interesting thus far.........you guys still think the gap will be 3+ seconds?
