Wow... I'm sure Mladin would've found a little more time if he was being pushed but it looks like Laverty may have something for him!

You may be right about MM but I'm thinking Laverty probably rides pretty well in the wet just because of where he's from. :)

rain is the great equalizer! wet races always change the order around a little bit

I'm sorry to hear that the "dingus" got DQ'ed...

It seemed like it started raining about lap 10 or so based on live timing, but if it was completely dry before that then he obviously rides pretty well in the dry too! Mat stepped it up just enough to maintain the gap when Laverty started catching him so who knows how it'd be if they both started off well, but he just embarrassed the other regulars any way you look at it. Hope he keeps it up...

That makes sense based on the change in lap times I was seeing, wish I had video to go with it... thanks!

Celtic just got the '09 GSXR1K this week, I believe. That's pretty damn impressive.

Maybe he remembers Mongo saying "if you are certain that you didn't jump the start you can ignore the meatball and appeal after the race. If you lose the appeal you lose a lap."

Geoff just forgot what org he was racing with. :D
