i have an `03 YZF600R, not R1, or R6. regarding the tech rules, does my bike need a belly pan????

i was hoping to use my stock plastic this year and get aftermarket next year......... or does this depend on what class i run?

it seems the farther i go, the less chance i have of keeping the bike even quasi street legal for fun use........

Leave it street legal and sell it then buy a race prepped r6. The money is about the same and any year r6 ('99-'04) will be much more competitive.

I raced an older ZX-6R that had pre belly pan body work on it. I made a sheet metal pan that fit inside of the regular body work which ended up costing about 6 bucks.

Race what you want to race, I think SV must have a bike for sale...

    I used to race a 97 YZF600

I used to race a 97 YZF600, and i have a ton of stuff for it still.

    1) Fox Twin clicker shock
    2) Full set of sharkskin bodywork
    3) steering damper
    4) D&D exhaust for the bike.

I haven't decided a price yet, but if you are interested please send me email at [email protected]

    Thanks.
