Acorn App anyone using it?

    Anyone using it?
    Seems like a decent deal (especially for someone like me who doesn't understand shit like 401k, etc).
    Long story short the app is taking spare change from your purchases rounds it up to the highest dollar and once it adds to $5+ puts it in your investment account.
    Their portofollios seem simple and not aggressive at all.
    Fees are $1/month for accounts below $5k or 0.25%/yr for accounts with more than $5k (significantly better deal IMO).
    But I do know we have some experts on these subjects here and want to see what they think...

    Those fees are huge in percentages if you are only making small contributions. Predatory if you ask me. Find a decent index fund from a low cost provider like vanguard and set up a Free auto debit from your bank account.

    ^what they said. If you budget for investing, you don't need someone "round it up" for you.
