Looks like wherever it was, they pitted on a frozen lake, which wasn't frozen long enough! I suppose this was a snowmobile event, since I saw "Polaris" one one hauler.
No that was definetely not NFMP. That place was a hot dust bowl. But, at least we didn't sink in the sand.
FYI ... I was told that this was Detroit Lake, and it was a snowmobile event weekend. Apparently, the ice broke trough at about 0500 hrs. Not a good thing to wake up to. Here are some other photos: http://community.webshots.com/album/36913142DSLOcW
The lights look on on that one trailer...I'm still cleaning sand out of my camera and printer from Florida...and I agree with Laurie, it was as hot as a dust bowl!
