is there a huge physical difference between the ttx shock that is on the 07-12 600rr that it wont fit on the 05-06?
I've noticed a bit more available for the 07-12 and if its just a matter of the bottom connection, that can be replaced pretty easily.

From what I've been able to find out, the 2005/2006 doesn't have a TTX shock available for it. It would be the 46PRXLS and here is the data on that shock....

    Length: 310.5mm
    Stroke: 59.5mm
    Spring: 1093-31

The 2007 TTX shock came in two versions......the 607 and a 789, which show identical specs as far as length, stroke, and spring. I'm guessing that maybe there is some difference in the internal valving, but I don't know that for sure. Here is the 2007 info.......

    Length: 295mm +/- 6mm (ride height adjust)
    Stroke: 60mm
    Spring: 21040-31

There was also a [FONT=&quot]46PRXLS type shock available for the 2007, but I can't find any data on the length, stroke and spring, although the length and stroke presumably would be the same since it is made to fit the same application.

    Hope this helps some!

    thanks xrated.
im just looking at the used market and there are a lot more 07-12 shocks that pop up than 05-06.
i wonder if the difference in length may be made up with the different bottom connection.
