The rules for this class mandate a 4 Qt. Oil containment. My YZ450 is a dry sump motor and only contains 1.26 Qt. oil TOTAL. Is there an exception elsewhere in the rules for Dry Sump motors, or is there some other logic operating here? Boltos
I think Mongo answered this before, maybe in regards to a different bike. The answer was something along the lines of: oil isn't the only liquid on the bike, so you still have to meet the rule.
