I’m toying around with the idea of putting something together to see if it’s possible.

I’m not looking to break records as I’m still a slow AM rider but more so something to keep me busy while the snow melts up here. I’m too slow & my bike definitely isn’t considered “fast” but I like to learn.

I do have Zoran’s captive spacers which helps but would love to see if there is something I can do that makes things easier.

I’m running the stock rear wheel as well.
    Any sneaky tricks?

I'm assuming you mean rear? I had a somewhat simple setup on one of my SVs that I got second hand. It required three parts, as well as a slightly shorter spacer on the caliper side of the wheel. The front was a little different, and I had a 1st gen R6 front anyway.

    New axle
Threaded cylinder through the caliper bracket
Captive plate that attached to the cylinder on the other side of the caliper bracket.
