If Joe Badnick is popping off AK rounds at me from behind a cinder block/ dry mud/ lightly prepared position, I'm going to want something that penetrates the position, any bodyarmour and Joe himself. This is 7.62 land. A 5.56 is a great round and I'd gladly use it. But my .45 and my meat cleaver (his name is Beaver Cleaver) is just the trick for 5 feet or under.
Italy is awesome and I'd love to go back. I'd love it more if there wasn't so damn many eye-tals there.
Nope, but they piped his CD in Nicoletta's (Corolla, NC) during dinner the other night. Mmm-mm. Yes, he has an awesome voice.
I'm out. Been out since 1993. Most soldiers only have to train for the worst. But often you have individuals that you work with that can tell you from experience what stuff will do. And you can read about it. So... With a 203...I prefered to have the opportunity to eliminate the target completely.
I went to war with my preferred weapon... United States Ballistic Missile Submarine. Had they let us bombe the middle east back to the stone age we wouldn't be going through this shit right now. I would be over there working on radiation safety plans to protect the migrant americans pumping the oil into the awaiting america merchant fleet.
having been in the army, id take the M-16 (.223) anyday of the week. Dont forget... you not only have to carry your weapon, you have to carry the ammo for it, too. having a .50 cal gun does nothing for you when you run out of bullets because you could only carry half of what the .223 guy is toting.
"And, Doctor, where do you draw the line between hobby and over-compensation?" LOL! To be truthful, of all of the firearms I own I have only bought 4 of them. The rest come from inheritance.
