Wet race? Oh crap... Just looked at results, wow, congrats to whomever scored this close to the results
Yeah i thought about setting the alarm to check in but ended up winging it. That rain shuffled it quite a bit but i am excited for Pecco
I think we have a new leader in the wet weather specialist category. Well-done, Miguel. Other observations: Fabio dropped like a stone (to say nothing of Bezz). Pecco road very sensibly and solid. AMarquez plus 12 positions including getting by Binder and Martin, and Zarco made it interesting in the end as well. All in all, given no practice in wet, most riders rode really well. As far as my picks (dry presumed) -- horrible. Will be interesting to see what the winning race score is. 'Ship looks wide open.
I bet on him on Tuesday or Wednesday at 23 to 1. My anger level was running high when I woke up to a dry warm-up this morning.
I faded before 9 pm local last night, which I think was four hours before the race was to start live. If I would have known it was a full wet race, I might have done better.
congrats @gixer1100 ! nice picks! I had put a sort of wet lineup, because I was out and knew I couldn't have made changes. It was definitely a hail mary. What a race til the end we have now, and a new leader on top of the leaderboard.

My work here is done (I mean results posted, not being in first -- that's unlikely to last). On to my favorite circuit on the calendar in two weeeeks tiiiiiiime.
My pics went over as expected and I had a feeling @dsapsis would do well since he believes in Miguel more than KTM.
Like most others, I assumed a dry race. As soon as the race started, I knew my picks were going to be shit. I was surprised I even pulled a 6th place. Also surprised to see so very few crashes considering it was soaking wet at the start of the race and they had pretty much no practice in those conditions, not to mention the Moto 2 race just before was a total shit show. They talk about who's a wet weather specialist all the time during races like that and it's always Miller, Zarco, Oliveira, Marquez, and a couple of others that are mentioned, but honestly I think every one of those guys is fast as shit in the rain. When the guy down in 20th place is lapping only 1-1.5 seconds off the leader, that's pretty damn good. In club racing the guy in 2nd place is usually a couple of seconds down, the guy in 10th is like 30 seconds off the pace, and the one in 20th is in his trailer cuz he said "fuck this!" before the race even started! LOL
I figured it out today...you need a 3 in your number: 43, 93, 73, 33 are all damn fast in the wet, 63 was up there today, and 88 must just count as four 3's humping each other into perfect fluid viscosity for rain mastery.
thanks! i was lucky enough to be up late enough to tune into the live...saw it was raining buckets and made a few changes. great race for Olivera!
then I take that back. If I saw it was raining, I would have done better serious talk...good stuff that was a good lineup considering where they all qualified.
totally understand. Set a lineup that you think would score the most points in the last 3 races. should at least be decent.
