no...that was opening bid...made it $34k the first time and the buyer "didn't get his wife approval" (i.e.ussy) , Second time it made it up to $28k. I got $close to $40k in it. $30k takes it home
riding season is almost here....clear out the kids college fund and send me a check. I will include shipping anywhere in the US for $30k
no still available....buyer flaked out. Gave me the old "my wife won't let me buyout.....blah blah blah"
Anyone have a winning lottery ticket they are willing to share? Only need $100 k to pay for this thing, a complete spares package, and a trip to some choice tracks.
Here's a little price justification for all you head scratchers who are not that good at math trying to figure if this is a fucking awesome deal or not. Try building your own full on Yoshimura superbike... 2016 Gsxr1000 msrp $13,999 add one off Yosh Pipe $2,800 full superbike motor $15,000+++++++ One off Yosh Tank $8,000 Brembo caliper etc $8,000 Wheels $3,000 Factory Showa Fork $20,000 ++++ good luck getting this shit anywhere Factory Ohlins shock $4,000+++ not your off the shelf TXX..This is factory shit Attention to detail $ try to put a number on that 8 years development $add up the track tests, motor, suspension, brake etc and your way over $200k here So I figure you can replicate this bike for about $200,000 or so. Let me know how you make out. I'd like to see how your project works out.
I don't think ANYBODY is scratching their head at the price, but unless you plan on cotton-balling this bike and putting it back on display or, by some miracle, you have the connections and resources to repair/replace any of the immense amount of unobtainium on it if something goes wrong, the market for such a machine is VERY limited.
I'm still trting to figure out how they got 8 years development on a 2016 bike when it is 2018. Am I in a time machine right now?
Same basic motor design since 2008, similar chassis since the 2010 model. Yea your in a time machine....put down the bong.
