I've decided to sell my beautiful Raven Black 2012 Yamaha YZF R1. This is a CROSSPLANE inline 4 cylinder, 6 speed trans, and it has 3 ( a/b/c ) engine modes and 7 level Traction Control which can be completely turned off if desired. It has very low miles, only 4220, always been temp. controlled garage kept since new, NEVER seen rain. Clean clean clean. Properly maintained and extremely well taken care of, this bike is literally flawless. If it has a scratch on it, I don't know about it. It is absolutely 100% ready to go / ride as is, needs nothing but a new owner/rider. Never have had any problems / issues with it, it's been perfect. I have all the paperwork, owners manual, spare key that's never been used, - everything that it came with from the dealer when new. Clean and clear IL title in hand. If you are seriously shopping for a bike like this, come take a look at it and you will buy it - no disappointments here. I have a lot of extras/accessories on it, some for performance, some for cosmetics, but I do still have every stock / original part that will be included in the sale. Here's the list; Superbike Unlimited ECU re-flash GRAVES 3/4 Link exhaust, all titanium pipes with Carbon Fiber mufflers ( have orig. mufflers /exhaust ) GRAVES smog block off plates / smog pump removed ( still have it to go with ) OEM Yamaha rear seat cowl ( have pass seat ) Passenger foot pegs removed ( still have them ) and custom rear brake reservoir bracket Black foot pegs ( all 4 ) Black adjustable levers ( still have orig. ) Puig dark smoke windscreen ( have orig. ) Lightech mirror block off plates CRG 2" bar end mirrors ( have orig. ) Swingarm spools Fren Tubo braided brake lines in carbon / black front and rear ( have orig. ) and Motul RBF600 DOT 4 fluid LED rear tail/brake light with t-signals built in and rear fender elim. kit /lic. plate bracket Cox radiator guard Carbon fiber tank protector 16t Renthal front sprocket / 49t black Sunstar rear sprocket ( -1 / +2 from stock gearing, have stock orig. sprockets ) 12 o'clock Labs Speedo healer / DRD, speedo is calibrated correctly for gearing change There might be a few minor things I am forgetting, but I think I have the majority of it listed. If you are a serious buyer looking for a pristine, well cared for bike like this I don't think you will find a nicer one out there in this price range. The Graves exhaust makes the great sounding Crossplane engine sound incredible, and the blacked out look is stunning. I have about 20 pics, but only posted these 5 , e-mail me for the rest if seriously interested. $9850.00 for everything Serious buyers please contact me at [email protected] and I will give you all the finer details. I am located about an hour NW of Chicago, IL and about an hour SW of Milwaukee, WI.
Gorgeous bike, and very nice to see folks who put up pictures that weren't taken with a potato in the corner of a dimly lit garage......
Thanks for the compliments , I really try to take good pics and give all the info I can up front to eliminate potential buyers having to ask a million questions. And ya, I hear ya about the photos. It amazes me how some people actually expect to sell anything with one terrible pic and a full description that reads " nice bike " . Someone out there needs this beauty in their garage.........................
Anyone that's seriously interested in this bike, I just got a $9400 offer that I am considering taking before I tuck her into bed for the winter in a couple weeks. Sooooooo, that's where I'm at if anyone wants to make offers
Really ? I thought I had it priced pretty fair, considering the condition and the $$$ in the extras, - you think I am asking too much for it ?
Nice bike. I would also take the $9,400 offer. The person is asking for 4.56% less than the asking price. It is rare to post a bike for sale and get what your asking for without someone trying to low ball you or ask for additional huge price cuts.
Pics of dog and R6 please, I already have a wife, and one's enough ............... LMAO, I'm just kidding...........
My thoughts exactly, although I didn't post the price as firm, I also didn't post it as OBO, and I usually plan on a 10% fudge factor both when selling and buying.
