I think a bike with this design could have gave the company a better foothold in the sport bike market, and maybe revitalized the company ...maybe . sure its a 1098 rip on the front end ,but the 1098 is no ultra individual stand out from the Japanese bike's either and think that was a definite selling point for it . I like it ,i bet it would have looks sicknuts in race trim .oh well
Yeah I did alittle reading about this, It was supposed to be a 1199 cc motor with over 180 hp. THeres more pics of it out there. It would have been pretty damn cool.
If it has that much H.P. I would buy one in a second. The 1125CR has 130hp and it is a riot to ride :wow:
I have been looking at a Ulysses. I cannot seem to find anyone to come down in prices. But I have been offered the 1125 for similar pricing as you quoted? I was surprised by that.
Oh yeah, I know someone who bought an '08 for $5,800. Hey, I wonder if they would let it compete in Daytona Sportbike.
I stopped actively searching since I found out we won't be finishing based on the original schedule. Imagine that. I delayed my plans to venture into Mexico until next Year. Until such time, another bike, the Ulysses is not warranted. I don't want to throw more than $6000 into a bike that I will take into MX. There is always a chance someone (with a batch) may like my bike more than me.
I probably should. I friend suggested the Versys with more off road friendly rubber. Worse case, I'll settle for a KLR but I just don't feel right on that bike. While I have your attention here. Would it be alright if I were to conduct a poll about travel interest to Mexico, escorted tours, etc on the board? I am thinking about partnering with an Eco-tour individual in MX and wanted to gauge the interest from the WERA community. I was not sure if it classified as some sort of advertising and violate any rules since the business is just a pipe dream at this time. I'll wait to hear from you. I am not looking to feel the weight of the hammer.
