I had a 1098S race bike that I ran on the street for "tuning" purposes where I zip tied flashlights to the front and back of the bike.... All the wire connections are present to reconnect lamps and turn signals. The wires are just a little shorter than stock. Hand controls are all still functional, there's just nothing attached for them to activate.
I have had a few PMs with questions on the bike so I thought I would add them to the conversation. Shipping the bike. I shipped a Triumph Daytona a while back from Texas to Florida on a pallet with spares for about $700. This is just FYI Make it street legal. Wiring and controls are all present, it just needs the lights and signals. And a kick stand. Cost reduction. A few options are available 1. The price is $9000 OBO for the bike and all spares. Make an offer. 2. I will hold back all the spares from the sale. Make an offer. 3. I will swap out the magnesium wheels for the original aluminum wheels and hold back the spares. Make an offer. Any questions, please let me know.
