    Sweatypants I am so smart! S-M-R-T... I mean S-M-A-R-T!

So I've had a pair of these sitting for a while. Never actually bothered to find out what's in them. Does anyone know what kind of valving came in these things on the Anniversary bike? Is it equivalent to a 25mm or 30mm cartridge kit? I'll probably have to have them resprung for my weight and a drastic reduction in the bike's weight compared to an R1, but didn't know if I should attack anything else while I'm in there or its got stuff that's more than fine.

somewhere on the fork bottom, like on the inside or the underside there should be a number like, FG ???.
that will give you the part number and then you can find the spec.

I think those are just R/T forks

yea... FG43 with a date of March 2006 on them. thanks. i was just trying to see what kinda spec internals they had... 20mm, 25mm, etc...

i guess there's a superbike valving upgrade for them if that's even necessary. i'll probably just rock em' as is for a while first. thanks though.

    25mm. Comes with C3R5, 9.5 springs, I think.
