I want out of the sport for now. As some of you know my wife and I had twins. Getting out for entire weekends to go road racing or even trackdays isn’t feasible and probably won’t be for a little while. I Will consider trades for properly setup woods bike for enduros and hare scrambles. Lights and street title preferred. 2 stroke preferred. I would consider selling the whole program as a package. I also have a spare motor which has a set of hopped up heads. Fresh stock bore, piston rings and new gaskets. Top of the motor just has to be assembled. I have more spares than you would believe. Several bins of spare parts, motor parts, gaskets, clutch, and misc SV stuff from over the years. If you take both bikes you get EVERYTHING. I’ve attached a few pictures I could dig up but can get pictures of both bikes in the driveway with all the spares when I get chance hopefully within the next week or so.
A bike has a new chain. 3 races on the chain and slicks. I ran a whole season on a set of Pirelli slicks last year and won the Midwest GTL championship. Flipped the rear 4 or 5 times. Perfect tire wear
The A bike also has titanium dog bones. There's all kinds of crazy cool shit on the bike. Everytime I look or think about it I find or remember something. The A bike has Yosh cams. The B bike has 2nd gen intake cams on intake and 1st gen intakes on exhaust The A bike has a custom steering stop for the GSXR front end. Both bikes are completely safety wired per WERA / AHRMA tech Both bikes have Jim Beam bottles for coolant overflow
Anyone want to make me an offer on the A bike? Help me go Enduro racing again. Trying to get a setup woods bike and need the money
If you want to part out the A bike, I'm interested in the the tank, shock, rear-sets and probably a couple other things.
When I look at the motorcycles, the parts inventory I have, the trophies, the friends and countless good times I just can't give it up. Even if I show up a couple times a year it's worth keeping. If I sell it it's very unlikely I will ever get back into it unless I trip over a big pile of money. Too many years building a solid clapped out SV program. It's just the operational costs (license, fuel, race entries) to go to the track but that's nothing compared to building a program back up again.
You see that tire mark on the A bike muffler? I still need to get the rider to sign that shit who I passed on the outside in the bus stop at blackhawk
