So I bought an XR100 that said it came with an xr80 front wheel. I then purchased some BT45's and tubes to fit what I believed to be 16" wheels. Now I look at the front wheel, it is actually a 14" wheel! What the heck happened? Is it from a different year? PS, anyone have a 16" xr80 front wheel they feel like selling?

I do have a 16" rim, PM me if your interested in it. You will also need a spoke kit, that you can get from Buchanon. If you bought it used there is no telling what the PO may have done. Most of the used ones I've seen all have at least some busted spokes and many parts can be swapped around. That being said the xr80 should have 14r/16f , the xr100 should be 16r/18f.
Yup. I have two sets of wheels, two 16" rears, and a 19" and a 14" front! I need to pick up a 16" front. Sending PM.
Also, if anyone wants a 14" front wheel for a mini, lemme know. I'd like to get it out of the garage.
You need 2- 16" front wheels..... one for the XR80 and one for the XR100..... so you can mount 16" street tires on that XR100 front and rear..... ha ha ha.
finally got my tires in and installed. CRF 100 with 16" front off an my CRF 80. My CRF80 with 14" (off my CRF70)
musta put in over 150 laps or more today. Picts and carnage to follow. The Bts stick like glue in rain or shine. Same for the 14" pirelli. Sure was a hoot stalking "big" bikes. Then chasing around some 9 yr old on a KTM 65. Then having him come by our pit saying "neener neener you couldnt make your passes stick" ...lol
