09 zx6 removal of ignition cover

    Having trouble removing the cover to install aftermarket on, have removed all the bolts and broken cover free but it appears to be hanging up on something. Can't figure it out and help would be appreciated.

    are you sure it isnt just the magnet? the magnets have a pretty strong pull untill you get the cover about 1/2" off
