Hey legends, Greetings from locked downunder! I'm putting together a front end for my SV650 - just a track bike so no spec restrictions. I have a lead on a cheap fork/triple setup off a K6 750 (black outers, longer length) but it doesn't come with a wheel. I also have a K9 600 rear wheel going on (curved spokes.) Given the opportunity, it would be nice to match the front and rear wheels... so I've found a K9 1000 front wheel reasonably cheap, which is the same style - curved spokes, 6-bolt rotors, and seems to be same part no: 54111-37H00 - for all K9 600/750/1000. The question is will the later K9 1000 model front wheel work with the K6 750 forks/axle? Axle part no: K6 - 54711-41G00 K9 - 54711-41G10 Axle bolt shared: 54712-41G10 (older version superseded) Spacers shared: - 5475141G10 - 54731-35F10 Bearings listed the same 25 x 52 x 15 (09262-25061) Seals both 32 x 52 x 7 (09285-32004) It looks promising. I can get access to machining, so if necessary making up some custom spacers, shims or bushings is possible. Any thoughts or wisdom? Thanks in advance!
What he said, it's a direct fit. Only future considerations will be to make sure you have a 6 bolt brake disks and rotor bolts that fit the 09-16 1000.
