has anyone mounted 08/09 bodywork to a 07? ive seen where someon has done it but said,they didnt use the ram air tubes wondering if 08/09 ram air tubes would work on a 07?
The tubes fit and they are interchangeable- the frame is identical. The subframes and seats however are very different and the tail sections are not a direct swap- you'll have to replace it all or get a race subframe and make it fit as the R-R that I currently have is a complete ball park as far as anything lining up- I could probably make a zx6r tail plastic fit on it if I had to.
Tubes are not the same at all. U will need the 08 09 air ducts But he is right about the subframe It will not work unless you get the 08 09 subframe.
I answered just what he asked- if the 08-09 tubes will fit the 06/07 frame. Frame's the same- yes they will
The 08/09 will fit, but you will need the 06/07 tubes. The tail will fit with a little trimming. Trust me.
that makes no sense seeing the different location for the air intakes in the bodywork. I could see the 08/09 intakes working, but have not confirmed this myself yet. Not trying to knock you down, you know the saying 'a picture is worth a 1,000 words..." Does anyone have actual pictures proving this? TIA
Shit, I meant to say you will need the 08/09 tubes on a 06/07 frame for that bodywork to fit. Late night post fucked me.
