I bought this bike from craigslist a little over 3 yrs ago in street bike form, and converted it to a track bike. It had 7500 miles, original tires, scratch free rims, etc....No title, VINS in tact. Apparently the sellers' nephew filed BK a few years after buying the bike new, and the bank never came and got it. The seller/uncle ended up with the bike to make some sort of project out of it. Changed his mind and sold it to me via CL. I have the original CL ad, the sellers' name and number and a folder of paperwork that the seller provided me. So that should answer the 'why no title questions'. I bought most of the race parts new.
