Just out of curiosity how did you get the DJ quick shifter to work with the carb setup? I'm running a translogic unit on my 1st gen but the DJ unit is cheaper and readily available
It has a box that wires into the ignition coils to cut spark (plug and play) They work flawlessly. I have the same setup on all 3 of my first gens.
