Just talked to him on the phone. He is on alot of med's and seemed to know who I was but he sounded very small and weak. It is hard to imagine him that way. We are going to visit him in the hospital and will update everyone as to his condition. Doug Hoge

Hey Everyone, Thank you for you thoughts. I will be printing this out and taking it back to the hospital with me. The update on his condition: The doctors are now saying they dont see any broken bones in his hand/arm. They do believe his collar bone is still broken, but he has something else to say about that! He is currently in a neck brace. The C7 is the vertebrae that is fractured, but he doesnt have any numbness, can feel everything, and can move around fine given the amount of morphine they have him on. He is at Fairfax Inova, in room 773. He can have visitors, and has already had a few, but he falls asleep on them pretty quickly/mid sentence. Phone calls dont work quite well right now to talk to him. He is in and out from the meds and also has a pretty high neck brace on, so you really cant hear him well. JLG is going to post the address for folks to send cards. Hopefully he can be on here soon and update everyone. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers! Shauna
