Anybody on here local to Anniston, AL? Me and a couple of buddies are going to try our hand at running WERA next year and would like to get together with someone for some face time and serious BSing. We've all done a 1/2 dozen trackdays or so and are going to do Ed Bargy school in October with all the trackdays we can get until then, but would like to benefit by conversing with someone face to face that has first hand experience.
We'll be at Little t on the 19th and hope to get to meet some people and start developing a feel for some of the things that we need to be doing. One of the guys in our group is supposed to do Ed Bargy and try to run his first race that weekend but I think that $ may be an issue.
I will be there Friday....Sat and Sun....look me up. Don't know how much help i can be, Since i'm just getting started, but will help if i can...I'm in B'ham Black and Yellow R6

Tell Jody I have some 120/190 Bridgestone take offs he might want. They have 2 practices and three races on them. I have 2 sets. I also have a great set of Pirelli supercorsas 120/180 take offs that are great for trackdays. call me if you guys might want them. They are cheap!!
I'm also looking for some local sponsorship if you know of any. I'm wanting to hit an AMA round or 2 this year.
