almost as bad as the floor mat recall they made Toyota do… because 10% of the stuck throttle actuators that nearly every manufacturer used were theirs? There were no recalls or media outrage over all the other manufacturers who had people die in their cars… probably similar issue here
I wish the Cyber truck had some sort of computer system to make it safe against unintended acceleration.
Thats still less than a new gas (oops!) accelerator pedal. We should ban the pedals! They are so dangerous! Look at all these acceleration deaths! Think of the children!
Saw one last week on the road, what an ugly ass vehicle. It's like a reborn Pontiac Aztec for dudes that pee sitting down.
That may be the greatest description of that POS ever!!! I picked up a 2024 Tacoma Saturday. So far. I’m very happy with it.
I've been interested in the new gen Taco. Which one did you get? I'm leaning towards a TRD Sport 4x4 with the Hybrid motor.
I just got a Quad cab SR5. Less gadgets to break. That hybrid in regards to fuel economy is not with it in my opinion. Like 2 mpg better than the regular 4 banger with the turbo standard motor.
Understandable. Seems Toyota has moved the Tacoma TRD models up the market. Better that the 2010 Dakota it has to replace I'm OK with it being more a power boost. And that it's the older, proven, nickel battery based tech. Instead of the Li-ion based. If it was the Li-ion it would probably make the MPG boost everyone assumes on hybrids, with all the caveats and "causes" for hand wringing from the EV naysayers.
