Scholtz has a ride https://motoamerica.com/squid-hunte...ing_wp_cron=1710790850.4812929630279541015625
Yes I believe so. Just a name change. Good move all in all, Squid Hunter is funny but Strack is much easier to sell to sponsors.
I love this. Just hope the R6 can remain competitive at most tracks. Already a tall order at places like Road America but still plenty of others where it can compete and Scholtz definitely had the determination to win on it.
Agreed! The other bikes should have been molded/tuned around the R6.But it was evident a great deal of the season the bike just didn't have the legs needed in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing Scholtz on a 600.I think he will do very well
Unfortunately they demoted him back to 600's, guess its better than no ride, but still https://www.instagram.com/strackracing/p/C4qr5awuKPI/ Got my hopes up when I saw this picture that was clearly an R1, but I'm thinking its probably old Westby stock photo that was shopped with the new team's colors.
There's been plenty of riders backslide a little, and come back better..Why.our own Josh Herrin stepped down, only to come back to ride Superbikes the following season.. message me Josh,I miss you best friend!!!
I think the R6 will fair just at the smaller tracks. Keep in mind that Daytona is just such a different place and you have to build a specific “Daytona” motor to be at the top top. With all of the talent in that class, I won’t be surprised to see it there.
I may have missed something, but I was thinking Josh Hayes would be part of this announcement also. I had thought the CSU One Cure deal was only for the 200, and he had something else lined up for the rest of the season. What did I miss?
A few pages back it was about porn. Fortunately (at least for some), now it's back to racing motorcycles...
It's been said...that Hayes kinda stepped aside so that Scholtz would have a ride. Don't know if its true, or just social media fluffing.
I could see Hayes doing that. Dude's a solid MFer. True or not, I think I'll believe that's what happened regardless.
