Grilling for Two on a 4 Burner Grill?

I have a Weber Genesis 4 burner LP gas grill. Now that I’m only grilling for two, do I:
    1. Set 2 burners to my cooking temperature and leave the other 2 off
    2. Set 2 burners to my cooking temperature and leave the other 2 on low/med-low
Option 1 saves a bit of gas
Option 2 potentially makes the grill inside more “uniform” for cooking.

Admittedly, I’m no grill guru, so any advice is appreciated.

We have the exact same grill and are two also. My wife does the two on, two off. I do one on and three off. I don't notice any difference but she claims there is.

I just light the one half of the grill and leave the other half off.

We also have the weber griddle so half my grill is grates the other half is a flat top. I love that thing. I'll never sell it. Fix it, but I'll never sell it
