Meh, if I lasted eight minutes before kapow, I would consider it a success too. Even better with cheering.

Anyone else reading the Musk Bio book?....

Chronologically it's a bit all over the place. Then he (the writer) started talking about an employee that had worked for the Cornell University Formula 1 team.... (Wut?)

Formula SAE team - they sort of describe the cars as "Formula 1" style cars for the folks who don't know anything about cars. https://cornellracing.org/team

Started it over the weekend. I’m on page 249 on my kindle, not sure if that equates to same pages in hardcover.

I’m really enjoying it, I’ve kinda been in a pretty dark place with work the last 2 months and reading about what the likes of Musk, Jobs, Billy Walter’s, and other crazy risk takers put themselves through provides perspective and helps me keep the fire lit.

I’m super envious of folks with their own businesses - really regret not doing it when I was younger and had no kids/wife that need me to provide.

I wasn't very clear but yes, that is where I was going, there's a big difference between F1 and FSAE.....

Makes you wonder what else Isaacson got confused about when writing the book.

Finished this tonight. Once Isaacson gets full access and travels with him for 2 years the book becomes chronological.

IFT-3 (Starship) currently still tracking towards Thursday. Launch license presumed to be arriving in time. Weather may be the limiting factor.

    Is this another Boca Chica?

If they ever get these somewhat predictable, I will definitely make the drive down from DFW to see it.

Yes. Probably won't be anywhere but Boca for a year or more.

I agree - really want to get down there at some point to watch a launch!
