No transponder, but yeah. On a V4 with the rest of the Ducati MotoGP riders

Holding everyone up ... just like old times lol. j/k

In all seriousness, I was curious about the spec on the GP rider bikes because the trap speeds are within a K or two of the SBKs

If it’s Bradl, you could put nitrous and a turbo in and he’d still be slow. That being said, in all seriousness, he certainly wouldn’t be testing the latest and greatest aero in full public eyes but everything else would be current top shelf spec so they can get test miles on it before the super stars take it out for a spin in a few weeks.

rossi 4s off first, on a 3yr old bike thats likely not full wsbk spec, against racers who are actually pushing to improve in a series they actually race in...not too bad imo.

No transponder on the bike last I heard. I also think I read he’s on a V4 R and not a full built superbike.
Bunch of Ducati motogp riders there also.

Rossi would be fastest even if he was on a Grom!

Maybe he should try a Grom, he can't do much worse than last place by 5 seconds.

Why are MotoGP riders at a WSBK test?

Seat time. Just a track day and staying out of the way of the WSBK guys and their testing.

Yep seems weird and could both the Italian and Fench tire guys and service trucks be at a WSBK test?

I really wonder how similar that Duc is to the Motogp bike. Curious if it's more electronics systems testing or if there is really anything mechanical Marc can learning by riding that versus the GP23. Also curious about why Rossi is out there. Good will gesture from Yamaha, or testing of some sort?

Maybe he just likes being on a race track.

There is zero data they can collect riding around on a street bikes vs. MotoGP.

This whole thing feels like a publicty stunt to promote WSBK.
