    the first part is clear

    1) You down shift
    2) You then PIN it and accelerate. Look at the grass on the left is start to go by faster
    3) You then do something that causes the bike to loose traction, I think then you turn in to the left, the bike hits the rev limiter and all of that sudden rev limiter and turning in causes your cold tires to tuck and down you go.

There is no second down shift he accelerates look at the grass on the left it actually speeds up

He Either pins it by accident or stuck throttle then rev limiter and tip in at the same time on cold tires do that all at once and you are going to face plant every time

Is it possible your shift linkage isn’t adjusted right? Like its just on the ragged edge?

Im not seeing it.A gear indicator would be helpful, and a view of both hands.I've watched it over and over like I'm part of some forensic team.Who knows? I watched one of his other videos. He seems to get around pretty good,so theres that going for him.

The bike fell on its left side and strangely the revs stay really high... Unless the rider is death gripped WFO while sliding (can't see the throttle) I think the high revs indicate something amiss with the throttle.

I hadn’t noticed until you mentioned it but it looks like his hand comes off the grip and it’s still revving.

You guys should spend some time with the Zapruder film once you close this case.

Watch it again and focus on the speed of the grass on the left easy to see

    Phl218 .

Foot anchors would have prevented that

The speed indicator in the video clip shows only deceleration.

GPS Lag, it's kind of common

Even with lag, there'd still be a moment of acceleration showing on the indicator.

What is up with the bike continuing to rev after he's clearly off the bars? Something is up with the throttle.

There might be two mechanical issues there. Heres my guess.

    After the successful downshift...
    - clutch disengages itself as it breaks
    - rpms raise because the rider is holding throttle
    - clutch breaks more and locks the rear tire
    - throttle sticks open
    - rear tire spins until the engine dies after the vid cuts

Both of those should be easy to diagnose. Pull the clutch cover and check if the throttle sticks.

The shift peg is too close to your footpeg for your feet and that healtech QS is too sensitive and that part of the track is bumpy. Also, the bike only has two wheels and they fall over sometimes. I rode the bike it was fine except for the shifter being made for DaveK.
